Sena Mercan was born in Istanbul in 2003 and still resides in her birth city. At an early age, she developed an interest in art, creativity, and performing. She finished her primary and secondary education and then enrolled in Bilgi University, one of Turkey’s well-established private universities. Parallel to her university education, she trained professionally in acting at the Andrama Oyunculuk Atölyesi, an acting school where she honed her stage and screen performance skills.

Sena Mercan’s screen debut came in the TV series Dokuz Oğuz, in which she acted Çiçek.
